n Wednesday, April 15, 2026, the South-Central Iowa SBDC and Southwestern Community College will host “How to Build a Sellable Business,” a hands-on workshop designed for rural Iowa business owners. The session will be led by Jeremy Vos, Owner of Exit Factor Des Moines, along with members of the Exit Factor Des Moines team.

This workshop is geared toward business owners who have worked hard to build their companies and want to strengthen the long-term value of their business — whether they plan to sell soon, transition someday, or simply want to build a stronger company now. Participants will leave with practical insight and a 30-60-90 day action plan they can begin using right away in areas like finances, operations, and leadership.
